Supporting Midlands Event Organisers

Our associate companies meet monthly to share knowledge, discuss industry issues, create business opportunities, and promote best practice – by working together.

MCOCO also organises at least one supplier event each year. There are typically around forty venues that gather to showcase their conference and meetings spaces together with their catering and accommodation. This is usually an informal evening event with the intention of information sharing, networking and socialising while also raising significant funds for local charities.

MCOCO member companies are Midlands-based, but operate throughout the UK and globally: they are small businesses, with less than ten employees.

Jayne has 35 years’ experience in events management/direction, having worked both in-house and agency side for companies across a range of sectors. In 2008 Jayne set up Event Works Europe Ltd and has grown the business steadily over the past fifteen years, establishing herself as a trusted event partner to a number of businesses.

Sally Clift

Choice Locations Ltd

Sally set up Choice Locations after spending more years than she cares to admit to working in the industry – on ‘both sides of the fence’. She worked for several hotel groups before starting Choice Locations. ‘We are totally independent – we do not promote any hotel group over another; we simply provide the best options at the best rates in the chosen location.

Sovereign Conference Exhibitions
Travel Incentives Ltd

Jennie has been in the hospitality industry for 40 years, the past 30 years working at Sovereign Conference Exhibitions & Travel Incentives Ltd located in Astwood Bank, Redditch.  Owner and Director for the last 8 years, the Company now specialises in the Association and not-4-profit market offering Secretariat, Delegate and Event Management services to a range of clients, some of whom they have worked with for over 20 years.
